Lori Hoey ordained to Diaconate

Mrs. Lori Hoey was ordained to the Diaconate on December 12, 2009, at the Cathedral of St. Luke in Orlando. Deacon Lori is the first person to begin the process of ordination at St. Elizabeth’s.
Her journey to ordination required two years of religion and scripture studies and a year in the School of the Diaconate.
All the courses were offered through the Diocese’s Institution of Christian Studies. Upon her ordination and Fr. Dave’s request, Bishop Howe assigned her to serve here at St. Elizabeth’s.
