Christmas performance and sing a-long
Posted December 28th, 2011
On December 18th St. Elizabeth's celebrated 4th Advent with their annual parish Performance and Sing A-long. The evening began with the St. E's thespians performing "The case of the Missing Meaning." The play was predicated on a young lady searching for the true meaning of Christmas. In order to find it she hired a under worked gum shoe type private investigator. The cast of characters utilized God's wonderful gifts and talents each had.
Following the play there was short intermission. During the intermission everyone was invited load their plates with Christmas cookies, breads, bark, and gather a wonderful beverage.
What followed was a multi-media presentation of various video enhancing the true meaning of Christmas. The final segment of the evening was the annual sing a-long with classic favorites like Winter Wonderland, Blue Christmas, Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer, and of course our traditional version the 12 Days of Christmas. The night closed singing a Christmas Carols ending with Silent Night.
Thanks to all who gave their time to practice their parts, coordinated all the food and refreshments, set-up and cleaned-up, and all who helped make this a wonderful night to remember... May God richly bless everyone who participated and attended.
