Pentecost, the Feast of Shavuot, celebrated 50 days after the Passover with the reaping of the barley harvest and the beginning of the wheat harvest. A day of anticipation of what God provided and what God would provide. A celebration commanded by God from the Passover to the giving of the Ten Commandment on Mt. Sinai to Moses. God revealed Himself and reveals Himself. It is the day God empowers the Church and empowers us to go to preach the Good News of Salvation through the work of Jesus Christ on the Cross... Let God empower you with the Holy Spirit - be filled and refilled to share the Good News to the world.
