When there is an important task to be accomplished we all like to be selected to be involved in that task. For us it is important because we feel we can make a difference in someone's life. Last week our Gospel was about three people who came to Jesus with a desire to follow Jesus but only when convenient... this week we sense the urgency of being appointed by Jesus to go ahead of Him to announce His coming to that village or town... It is an important task because it is a one time offering. It is no different today... Jesus selects us to go ahead of Him and tell the world of God's grace, love and mercy - that through Him the world is redeemed... God invites you - He selects you to be an ambassador for Him... The question is will you....
