13th Sunday after Pentecost 22 Aug 2010

To strive for something means we have to be committed to what we are striving to achieve. Jesus tells to strive to enter the narrow gate. What it says to us it that we need to stay focused on who Jesus is what He calls us to do. With a world filled with those who would try to dissuade us in our commitment to Jesus as the only way it requires us to strive even harder to hold to the truth of God's plan of salvation through Jesus and Him alone.
