Posted December 18th, 2011
Do Not Be Afraid...these are often words we hear after someone tells us what is about to happen or asks us to do something. Do Not Be Afraid is sometimes hard to comprehend when it seems as if it is out of the spectrum of our ability to do the task asked of us. The angel Gabriel came to Mary and told not to be afraid for she was going to be the mother of God's son, Jesus. Mary a young girl who was not of wealthy parents or royal blood would be called to do something great. God uses the ordinary to do the extraordinary, He does not need spectacular people to do the spectacular. He only needs a willing heart...one that has hope because of the faith they have ....
